Valley of Fire is amazing! Hoover Dam…meh. And don’t miss the funky desert art museum (sculpture garden) in Joshua Tree. Pioneertown is also a fun side jaunt from JT.
It’s a different kind of desert from the SW US. My mom and I drove from Vegas to Los Angeles about 10 years ago for my sister’s baby shower. It’s a treat and boring all that same time. My Aunt was living in Joshua Tree at the time so I only got see her lovely house. Looking forward to hearing your take on:)
Sounds amazing, did some parts of Route 66 years ago, really recommend abit of that if you can fit it in, some amazing stuff to see even if you are not a biker!
