I love the balance but find it interesting that being authentic is what comes after all the productivity gurus. Can you please tell me what Yorkshire tea is? Is it like good southern sweet tea?.
Yorkshire Tea is just a particular British brand of tea. I think it might be the UK's most popular brand of tea (you might have to check that).
It's main characteristic is (I'm sure Jo will put me right on this) that it has a full bodied taste (aka strong taste) - lol
So no, I would def not liken it to southern sweet tea. Probably quite the opposite 😊
PS. If you'd like to meet someone else who is an avid Yorkshire Tea drinker (not sure why you would - lol..) you might like https://substack.com/@theoldgreythinker. If you're not British his writings may be a little colloquial and therefore might add more confusion ha ha
What self respective Marmite Lover also eats Vegemite eh, eh?
And yes, I can't be bothered to be anything other than myself.
But I have noticed the different rhythm (what an awful word to spell!) in your recent writing. And even though I've know you for ooh, 12 years? - only now do I feel I'm getting to know you better. x
PS. I read Scott Stillman also - usually an interesting read.
Ha! That’s called being married to an Aussie! I’ve had to become Marmite/Vegemite ambidextrous 😂 Yep this is an interesting transition for me also. I’ve always been more ‘teacher Jo’ than ‘story Jo’, but in a fast moving AI world, I do think more personal human stories is the way to go. Plus I’m really enjoying the writing & telling stories etc. I’m losing quite a lot of subs, but I feel I’m starting to develop deeper relationships with the ones who are staying & reading. I’ve had some fab emails just this week, so it’s quite exciting. 😁

Theresa - may I step in?
